Tammin

- History: Tammin is a senior, Australian girl from Greyhounds as Pets, New South Wales. She arrived in Dallas on March 4, 2025, after a 15-hour flight from Sydney; and TAGS picked her up on March 5, 2025. Tammin has been fully vetted, including having a number of teeth extracted. Tammin’s sire is Barcia Bale, and her dam is Blue Mayhem, both Australian, registered on Greyhound Data. She ran 65 races, ending her career on April 23, 2021. She then had one litter of pups in October, 2022. Her three (3) offspring, are currently racing, Ultimate Eclipse, Ultimate Riot and Ultimate Rocket. Since that time, she has been living in a kennel or run in Australia awaiting her retirement in the U.S.
Tammin is said by her Australian handlers to be a sweet and laid-back girl. She is friendly and placid. She will make a gentle and affectionate companion. Tammin’s Australian handlers said she does well on leash.
Tammin made a good impression on her first day with TAGS. Upon first meeting Tammin, she was friendly and engaging, even taking time to pose for a few website photos. She conversed with Fred, the goat, at the transporter’s kennel (not sure what she was telling him). She loaded and rode very well in the car, sleeping most of the way. She also does the “Aussie sit.”
Tammin is in a foster home with other greyhounds. Tammin has a nice thick fawn coat, with a beautiful face. She is very photogenic. We can't wait for you to meet her!! We will update Tammin's bio after she is more settled!
